Karen Johnson

Mrs. Karen Johnson is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Karen received her Masters of Science in Nursing degree and Family Nurse Practitioner certification in 2009 from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Prior to credentialing as a Nurse Practitioner she worked as a critical care nurse for over 20 years within the Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio. She spent several years working as a Family Nurse Practitioner on the southside of San Antonio in a Family Practice Clinic.

Karen is a long-time resident of the SchertzCibolo area with all three of her children graduating from Samuel Clemens High School. After working numerous years in the San Antonio area, she decided to serve her local community by providing care to the residents of the SchertzCibolo community. She opened her own practice three years ago and is now merging with Hillside Primary Care Clinic in order to expand her career in the SchertzCibolo area.

Karens goal is to improve and maintain the overall health of each patient through providing high-quality care, preventative care, and early detection of disease. She has a passion for her patients and treats them all as family.
