About
Dr. Julie Mallin is a Doctorally prepared Family Nurse Practitioner and ANCC Board Certified Informatics Nurse. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Kentucky and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

She and Jim, her husband of 26 years, have three wonderful children. Julie enjoys gardening, kayaking and travel. She is a member of the North Carolina Nurses Association, and the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society.

With over 25 years of nursing experience, Julie is extremely excited to join Star Medical Center in providing healthcare to patients of all ages with an emphasis on patient safety and improved quality of care for our community
