About
Amanda has Masters of Science in Nursing from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. She also has a Masters degree in Expressive Art Therapy from Lesley University and attributes this to her deep rooted belief in creating community and relationships with her patients. She is ANCC board certified and able to prescribe medication. Amanda is enthusiastic about providing patient centered care and focusing on her patient's needs. She enjoys meeting with her patients and creating a warm and focused treatment environment. Among Amanda's repertoire of past career accomplishments include: supervising crisis team in Boston, MA, working with at risk children and families with in home care, providing consultation to nursing home medical staff regarding psychotropic medication care for the elderly in Seattle, Wa, working in a women's clinic within a integrative modelmedication provider, she has worked in Emergency Room and Inpatient settings at University of Massachusetts, acute crisis stabilization and community mental health settings in Massachusetts. Additionally, Amanda has treated patients with eating disorders in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Amanda specializes in mood and anxiety disorders such as: treatment resistant depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. Additionally, she specializes in women's health including: eating disorders, prenatal and postpartum conditions including: postpartum depression, body Image dysmorphic disorder and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. Amanda treats co-morbid illnesses such as autoimmune disorders and chronic fatigue. Amanda's clinical interests also include: supporting mothers with planning pregnancy around medications, anxiety and sleep difficulties, marital issues including support through divorce, yoga, chronic illness and stage of life changes.
