Dennis Jilka

Dr. Dennis Jilka, MD, was born and raised in Kansas, where he excelled as a student-athlete, wrestling and playing football and rugby. He went on to play college football at Fort Scott Community College before transferring to Kansas State University, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Physiology and a Masters degree, with research centered on congestive heart failure CHF and oxygen transfer kinetics.

He later earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his internal medicine training in Indiana.

As a general practice physician, Dr. Jilka provides comprehensive care for a wide range of adult medical conditions. His clinical interests include chronic disease management, weight loss, chronic pain, and psychiatric conditions, using an integrative, evidence-based approach to care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Jilka enjoys reading science fiction and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. He proudly provides patient-focused care at Allure Wellness Center.
