Sarah Poag has dedicated over 20 years to healthcare, beginning her journey as a nurses aide during her senior year of high school. It was in this role that she discovered her passion for nurturing others and empowering patients to reach their fullest potential. This early experience shaped her commitment to holistic health and wellness, ultimately leading her to earn her masters degree from Chamberlain University and become a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Sarah specializes in caring for patients aged 18 and older, with a particular passion for metabolic health and its profound connection to the prevention and management of chronic disease. At Allure Wellness Center, she brings a patient-centered, wellness-focused approach to care, helping individuals achieve lasting health through thoughtful, personalized treatment plans. She chose the nurse practitioner path to gain the autonomy needed to share her unique perspective on health and wellness, focusing on sustainable lifestyle changes that address the root causes of illness rather than simply treating symptoms.

Sarahs approach to patient care is both evidence-based and highly personalized, drawing on years of hands-on experience and a deep belief in treating the whole person. She is committed to building meaningful partnerships with her patients, supporting them in becoming the best versions of themselves through education, encouragement, and compassionate care.

Outside of practice, Sarah enjoys healthy cooking and staying active through fitnesspassions that inform her clinical work and allow her to truly walk the walk alongside her patients.
