Anisa Nayeem

Dr. Anisa Nayeem is board certified in Internal Med, Nephrology Hypertension. She completed her medical school at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where she was part of the AOA Honor Society. She then continued on to complete her residency as well as her Nephrology training at University of California San Francisco UCSF. She received her Master in Public Health degree from University of California Berkeley in 2006. She has been a strong advocate for female physicians and has participated as a mentor and co-chair in many female physician organizations.

Dr. Nayeem practiced Nephrology in California for about 4 years before returning to her roots in the South. She moved with her family to Tennessee in 2011 and has served the rural communities of Winchester, Manchester, and Tullahoma since that time. She currently serves as Medical Director of the US Renal Care Dialysis Unit in McMinnville as well as the Davita Dialysis Unit in Murfreesboro. She has clinic locations in Winchester, Manchester, and McMinnville.
