Dr. Zawadzki is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. He obtained a degree in psychology from the Pennsylvania State University, and subsequently completed a Masters Degree in Clinical Neuropsychology at the California School of Professional Psychology prior to attending medical school. He completed residencies at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine Cabrini program, and St. Vincents Medical Center, where he remained as a fellow in Forensic Psychiatry. Dr. Zawadzki served as Chief Resident during his psychiatry residency.
During his training, Dr. Zawadzki performed a variety of forensic psychiatric evaluations, including the evaluation of New York Fire Fighters for psychiatric injury and fitness-for-duty following trauma experience in response to the 911 World Trade Center attacks, family and children for custody disputes with recommendations made to the court, will contestation, psychiatric injury, psychiatric disability claims in the private sector, insanity pleas, and others.
