Han Nguyen, DPM, a native to Sunny Florida, is trained in both the surgical and conservative treatment options for feet and ankles.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from Florida Southern College, she went on to complete her podiatric medical degree at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL, graduating as a member of the Pi Delta Honor Society. She went on to complete a 3-year integrated Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with added credentials in Reconstructive RearfootAnkle Surgery PMSRRRA at the White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. During this time, she focused on advanced treatment of foot and ankle sports injuries, lower extremity trauma, arthrodesis of end stage ankle arthritis and reconstruction of complex foot and ankle deformities. She served as a member of the Center for Limb Preservation Advanced Wound Care at White Memorial, treating complex lower extremity deformities related to diabetes and peripheral vascular disease. During her time at White Memorial Medical Center, the major amputation procedures, such as above knee amputation, was reduced by eighty percent. As chief resident, she completed training at USC Keck Medical Center with the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery service, learning advanced techniques in lower extremity reconstruction.
Dr. Nguyens clinical focus and expertise deals directly with treatment of all forms of foot and ankle injuries and deformities including bunion and hammertoe deformities, flatfoot deformities, ankle arthritis and joint reconstruction.
On her spare time Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending her time doing outdoors activities such as tennis, running and hiking with her dog. She also has a love for food and travel and has been to various countries such as Spain, France, and Costa Rica.
