I have been practicing optometry since 1991 when I graduated from Pacific University in Oregon and returned home to South Dakota. I practiced with another optometrist for a year, then with a group of ophthalmologists assisting with the refractive surgery program and doing low vision evaluations as well as routine eye exams. I ventured on my own in 2002 when I opened Eye Works, Inc. I enjoy helping people understand more about their eyes, and helping them to see and feel better. All ages are welcome. I still do routine eye exams and contact lens exams, and advise on low vision aids. I also manage some eye conditions such as glaucoma and cataracts, treat some eye infections, remove metal and other foreign bodies from the eye, and other services. If indicated, I offer to refer you to a specialist. I have an interested in nutrition and supplements and complementary health. After fine-tuning your glasses prescription, I may help you select frames from the wide variety available. While you're visiting, entertain yourself with the kaleidoscopes and other visual delights or say hello to our pug mascots. Our goal at Eye Works, Inc. is to help you see your best, provide great service and products in a comfortable atmosphere, and to delight your eyes, mind, and heart.
