I am board certified in Family Medicine with the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. I received my doctor of osteopathy degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri in 2012 and completed my Family Medicine Residency in Bluefield, WV in 2016. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Having grown up in Colorado, I have grown quite accustomed to outdoor sports and activities. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, running, snowboarding and gardening as well as weekend Do it Yourself projects and spending time with my family.
My focus is in adult medicine with an emphasis on prevention of disease and optimizing the health and well-being of my patients. In addition to annual Wellness Exams, I provide treatment for a variety of chronic health issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, and hypothyroidism as well as anxiety and depression. I value the time that I spend with my patients and encourage each individual to be an active part of their health care plan in order to reach their personal health goals.
"My goal is to preserve the health of my patients by providing each individual with exceptional medical care to the best of my abilities. The foundation of healing starts with me and with my dedication and emphasis on preventative medicine. It is refined by the development of a mutually trusting relationship based upon respect, empathy, and genuine communication. My hope is that through these elements, each patient will attain the greatest fulfillment of their health care needs."
