Stephen Morley is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Licensed in both Maine and New Hampshire, Stephen works with virtually all ages from mid-adolescents to seniors and offers his patients both in-office and remote teletherapy options.
With a true affinity for the humanistic, health-promoting principles of nursing, Stephen is dedicated to providing each client with compassionate, supportive care. He strives to create a collaborative healthcare experience for every client, offering holistic, patient-centered care that respects and supports individual autonomy.
Stephen Morley began his nursing career as a psychiatric nurse at Spring Harbor Hospital in Portland, Maine, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to treat children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities. He then worked as a home care registered nurse, traveling to patients homes and caring for people with a wide variety of medical conditions.
After being awarded a highly competitive NURSE Corps Scholarship, Stephen went on to pursue his Masters of Science in Nursing from Boston Colleges Connell School of Nursing. While completing Boston Colleges Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program, Stephen received his clinical training at the Veterans Administration Community-Based Outpatient Clinic in Lowell, Massachusetts and at Walden Behavioral Cares Waltham clinic.
As part of the national NURSE Corps program, Stephen was proud to spend his first two years as a mental health nurse practitioner working at a Federally Qualified Health Center, providing psychiatric care to underserved individuals at a community health center in Manchester, New Hampshire.
As he enters private practice, Stephen is grateful for his years in community health care. He believes the breadth and depth of that experience have given him greater perspective, allowing him to become a more well rounded, compassionate health care provider.
