Diya Tantawi

Doctor is a Double Board Certified Plastic , Cosmetic and General Surgeon.

Dr Tantawi did his residency in General Surgery at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY , and his Plastic Surgery Residency and Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA.
Dr. Tantawi served our troops in the U.S. Army in active-duty and reserve capacities. He was deployed in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and New Dawn in 2011, 2014 and 2015. He received multiple badges and awards. He remains a member of the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps.

Dr. Tantawi was drawn to the field of medicine at an early age, knowing he would gain personal satisfaction in helping others become well. I am fortunate that I found a career that provides me with a deep level of personal satisfaction. I believe the best way I can help patients is to provide them with the best surgical options.

Being a surgeon allows me to take an active role in a patients path to healing. My care
philosophy involves combining traditional surgical techniques with new innovative ones
in order to improve patient outcomes.
