Ariel Davila Parrilla

Dr. Ariel D. Davila-Parrilla is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon based in Puerto Rico, with over 15 years of experience in the field. He earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 2011, followed by a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the same institution from 2011 to 2016.

Dr. Davila-Parrilla further specialized by completing a Comprehensive Hip Preservation Fellowship at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Davila-Parrilla is an Auxiliary Professor at the University of Puerto Rico Medical School Department of Orthopedics, and serves as the Chief of the Hip Preservation Service with the Residency Program.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Davila-Parrilla has contributed to the medical community through research, co-authoring nine peer-reviewed articles and participating in clinical trials over the past 15 years. His areas of expertise encompass hip arthroscopy, hip dysplasia, arthritis, pelvic and femoral osteotomies, and hip replacement procedures. He is trained in anterior and posterior hip replacements and robotic-assisted surgeries.
