Asad Kirmani, MD

Dr. Asad Kirmani opened his private practice in Austin to use his breadth of experience to serve the Central Texas community. He grew up in Houston and graduated from UT Austin and UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his psychiatric residency program in New York City at Beth Israel Hospital and spent several years there leading the Psychiatric Emergency Department as well as joining a busy private practice in mid-town Manhattan. Dr. Kirmani relocated back to Texas to join UT Austin's Counseling and Mental Health Center as Staff Psychiatrist before opening Mental Health Wellness - Austin.
