Charles Jenkins, Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Charles Jenkins, APRN began his healthcare journey after graduating from what is now Albany State University formerly Darton College in Albany, Georgia, in 1999. Early in his career, he immersed himself in the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Department at Grady Memorial Hospital, where he developed a strong clinical foundation and gained invaluable hands-on experience caring for diverse patient populations.

Driven by a commitment to excellence and lifelong learning, Dr. Jenkins returned to academia, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN from Clayton State University in 2005. His passion for advancing patient care led him to Georgia State University, where he completed his graduate studies in 2009, earning a Master of Science in Nursing and subsequently achieving national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner FNP-BC.

Never content to stop growing, Dr. Jenkins continued to elevate his expertise by earning a Doctor of Nursing Practice DNP from the prestigious Georgia State University in 2019. This accomplishment reflects his dedication to clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, and healthcare leadership.

Today, Dr. Jenkins is recognized not only for his clinical expertise but also for his commitment to developing the next generation of healthcare professionals. He mentors Nurse Practitioner NP and Physician Assistant PA students while also guiding aspiring medical and healthcare business professionals, equipping them with the clinical insight, leadership skills, and strategic vision needed to thrive in an ever-evolving healthcare landscape.
