Chikezie Onyenso, MD

Dr Onyenso is board certified in the field of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He has spent over 35 years practicing pediatric and internal medicine in both private and public spheres. In addition to his experience working in New Jersey since 1993, his professional life has also focused on providing healthcare to under-served communities not just here in the USA but also in sub-Saharan Africa. These experiences coupled with his role as a co-founder of a telehealth start-up company in the U.S. increased his knowledge of both private and public practice, making his skills most valuable in patient engagement processes suited for institutions, the ED, ambulatory settings, community health facilities and hospitals . For over eighteen years he worked in a busy and successful inner-city private practice and beginning in the year 2006 he pioneered early means of augmenting quality patient care by being one of the first providers in the area to implement the electronic medical record system in practice in 2006. And more recently has put great amount of resources in scalable virtual and remote applications in patient care. " I believe that in these applications, when successfully integrated, lie solutions that will lead to providing efficient, safe, barrier-dissolving and time saving solutions to physician-patient encounters that are long overdue in the industry". says Dr Onyenso. He continued " We have leveraged these applications to promote efficient provider-patient engagement workflows in our Walk-in Clinics, Triage Services Counseling and Concierge offerings.
