Christine has spent her career dedicated to the field of psychiatry starting with her RN degree from Adelphi leading to teaching and research in adult and child psychiatry, leading groups and providing therapy in both outpatient practices, CPEP and inpatient units. She followed that with a Masters of Nursing in Psychiatry from Stony Brook University becoming licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She continued her passion for psychiatric patient care across hospital and private settings with a patients-come-first mentality to her work. This expanded to some of the most under-served populations including patients involved in CPS, probation, parole and social services. Christine focuses all her energy on quality comprehensive patient care at Island Psychiatry and spends her quiet time on the beach whenever possible.
