Demetrios Katsaros

Dr. Katsaros went to medical school at the Chicago Medical School and completed his general surgery training at the world famous Cleveland Clinic Foundation and its affiliated hospitals. He also received cardiovascular training at the Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson Cancer Center, were he performed complex reconstructive surgery. Dr. Katsaros is also a member of the De Bakey International Vascular Society and various medical societies in Illinois and Indiana.

Dr. Katsaros became a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons on 9212008 and has been practicing cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in Illinois and Northwest Indiana since 2009. He has offices in Chicago, Downer's Grove and Merrillville, Indiana.
Dr. Katsaros has published original research in Peer Reviewed medical journals including the Annals of Thoracic Surgery and won the prestigeous Cleveland Clinic Research Recognition Award. Dr. Katsaros is also widely published in popular magazines. His most recent publications were featured in Bride, Wedding Essentials, Shore, Childrens Essentials and others.
