I am a doctoral prepared and dual certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner. I have worked in psychiatry for 7 years. It happens to be one of the specialties that I am very passionate about. I love helping individuals live life to their best ability by respecting the fact that each person is unique, respecting each patient's rights, respecting them as human beings first, and above all their needs. I also love to inspire others to engage in those activities that will promote their lifestyle and help bring emotional stability and balance to their daily lives. Trust is very important in what I do. I work hard to earn the trust of my patients so that the patient provider relationship is built on solid ground. This will allow us to work together in addressing each person's specific needs.


Educating my patients to ensure they have the information needed to make informed decisions about their healthcare needs is at the crux of my practice. All these leads to patient empowerment, which is the foundation upon my practice is built.
