Dr. Akkary is a highly regarded Cosmetic Surgeon based in Morgantown, WV. He holds Board Certification in Cosmetic Surgery from the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, Facial Cosmetic Surgery from the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, and General Surgery from the American Board of Surgery. He has completed two prestigious fellowship training programs at Yale University New Haven, CT and Shumway Cosmetic Surgery San Diego, CA. Additionally, he earned an Executive MBA Masters degree from the University of Pittsburgh Pittsburgh, PA.

Dr. Akkary specializes in Cosmetic Surgery, including face and body contouring and non-surgical procedures such as injectables neuromodulators, fillers, PRP and lasers. His techniques eliminate the need for general anesthesia, thus reducing patient recovery time, virtually eliminating the risk of hospital-acquired infections, and decreasing patients costs. Dr. Akkary is an Active Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery AACS, American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery ASCBS, The American Society of Liposuction Surgery ASLS, the World Association of Gluteal Surgeons WAGS and the American Medical Association AMA. He is Patient Safety Certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery

Dr. Akkary serves on the Board of Trustees at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is an Examiner at the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. He also serves as the Chair of the Membership Committee of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
