About
Update from Dr. Shah Dear Patient, It is with mixed emotions that I share my departure from Peter Shalit MD and Associates. My last day of patient care will be on June 1, 2026. While my time with this practice is shorter than I expected it to be, caring for members of my community at a clinic with such historic roots in Capitol Hill has been a highlight of my career. After my departure, my colleagues will continue to ensure that your healthcare needs are met. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message via the portal. I will continue to address any concerns you have about your health until June 1, 2026. Best, Enne Shah DO
Enne Shah theythem; Enne joined the practice in August 2025. Born and raised in New Jersey, they initially came to the Pacific Northwest to spend a service year working at a homelessness nonprofit in Pioneer Square, and returned for residency training in Family Medicine at HealthPoint Community Health Center in Auburn, WA. While in training, Enne developed a trans-health curriculum and partnered with a local organization to deliver HIV testing and vaccinations against monkeypox. They also worked with newly arrived refugees across linguistic and cultural barriers and at a drop-in Suboxone clinic.
Ennes experiences as a child of immigrants, a queer physician, and in community health have imbued their practice with a focus on cultural competency, equity, and meeting patients where they are in their lives. Their clinical interests include LGBTQ-focused health including gender affirming care, HIV treatment and prevention, harm reduction, and addiction. Outside of work, Enne can be found enjoying a local drag show, losing themself in electronic music, or making a vat of soup.
