Erica Burgett

Erica is a dual certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience caring for patients in a variety of clinical settings including primary care, women's health, mental health and internal medicine. She earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Pace University in New York City and went on to obtain an additional Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification from the University of Texas, Austin.

Erica has extensive experience in the treatment and management of adult anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders and ADHD. She is particularly interested in and pursuing further training in reproductive psychiatry as well as new and emerging treatments for mental health concerns. Erica approaches health from a holistic perspective and believes that wellbeing must include an awareness of and attention to the body and mind as well as the emotional and interpersonal lives we lead. Her philosophy, as a provider, is one of curiosity, acceptance and collaboration. Informed by evidence-based treatments and current research, Erica works with clients to develop a plan of care that is effective, appropriate and tailored to their unique needs. This plan of care may include medication, lifestyle interventions andor therapy.
