As a US Navy combat veteran and former Division Psychiatrist for 1st Marine Division, I am uniquely qualified to work with the needs of veterans, but also have extensive experience treating the full spectrum of issues in adult psychiatry for any patient.

As a Psychiatrist, my goal is to minimize the number and doses of medications needed to maintain safety and stability, or less is better approach. In addition, it is rare that maximum benefit of treatment can be achieved with medications alone, so most patients will benefit from psychotherapy as part of a complete treatment plan.
