Hamid Tehrani

After getting his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Biology and Physiology at the University of North Carolina, he did biomedical research in attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, testing Ritalin in animal models, and was involved in osteoporosis research at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine for 8 years. He completed his medical training in Internal Medicine at the NYU Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, in 2007. Since then, he has been involved in direct patient care in the primary care setting, hospital medicine, intensive care, interventional pain management, and hospital and hospice administration as a medical director. He was one of the first physicians in Atlanta to volunteer to care exclusively for COVID patients in the first days of the pandemic in 2019. He has had a private practice providing services in pain management, procedural services, medical consultations, and aesthetics medicine. He has provided medical consultations to individuals and institutions internationally.
