Hani Shennib, MD, MSc, FRCSC, FACS

Dr. Shennib is internationally recognized for his work in the field of endovascular intervention, and minimally invasive thoracic and cardiovascular surgery. He moved to Phoenix after practicing and teaching at McGill University Hospitals in Montreal, Canada for 18 years. He completed his general surgical and cardiovascular training at the Montreal General, Royal Victoria, Montreal Chest and Childrens Hospitals in Montreal, Canada. Subsequently he had additional training in thoracic surgery and transplantation at the Toronto and Mount Sinai hospitals and in endovascular and vascular surgery at Arizona Heart Hospital.

After completion of training he returned to Montreal where he was appointed on staff at McGill University hospitals and rapidly ascended to be become Full Professor in the Departments of Surgery, Oncology and Transplantation Immune-biology.

Dr. Shennib moved to Phoenix in 2008 to establish a private practice in the field of vascular medicine, catheter based interventions for peripheral vascular and aortic disease and in minimally invasive thoracic surgery. Currently his office provides consultations and onsite diagnostic laboratory providing vascular ultrasounds and echos.

He works at Mountain Vista Medical Center, Tempe St. Lukes, Phoenix St. Lukes, Gilbert Hospital and Arizona Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Shennib is available for primary consultations and second opinions on all aspects of vascular, thoracic and cardiac medical opinion.
