Isabel is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner PMHNP-BC with ten years of clinical nursing experience. She is trained in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric conditions in patients of all ages. She collaborates with her patients to determine an individualized treatment plan, which may include psychiatric medication management, psychoeducation, and brief psychotherapy. She is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and holistic behavioral health care to patients from all walks of life.

In 2013, she completed her BS in Nursing at New York University NYU. She then worked as a labor and delivery nurse for several years at the New-York Presbyterian and Mount Sinai hospital systems. She also has experience in home health and triage nursing in the New York City area. Throughout her nursing career, she witnessed many patients suffering the psychological impacts of shame and marginalization. This experience motivated her to dedicate her career to the reduction of mental health stigma and promotion of quality, evidence-based psychiatric care.

She earned her MS in PsychiatricMental Health Nursing from George Washington University GWU and completed her clinical internship at Behavioral Healthcare Services in Worcester, MA. She also has experience providing inpatient psychiatric care at Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA. Her areas of interest include depression, anxiety, eating disorders, PTSD, racial trauma, womens mental health, and LGBTQI affirming care. She is also a 200-hour trained yoga teacher and certified lactation counselor CLC.
