Jacob McDougall

I'm happy to be your physician assistant! My journey to medicine began at the University of Utah, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. This strong foundation in the natural sciences fueled my passion for healthcare.

I furthered my education at Methodist University in North Carolina, where I obtained a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. Since then, I've dedicated myself to providing high-quality care to patients for over 9 years. My experience includes 7 years in urgent care, where I honed my skills in diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. During this time, I also gained exposure in primary care, preventative services, and sports medicine, allowing me to develop a comprehensive approach to patient well-being. I then transitioned to practicing for 2 years in vascular surgery hospital medicine, where I expanded my medical knowledge and skills.

When I'm not at the clinic, I prioritize a healthy lifestyle that includes exercise, nutrition, and exploring the beauty of the outdoors. I also enjoy traveling, visiting family and friends, and immersing myself in music and art. My interest in aesthetics extends to the medical field. I strive to consider my patients health as a whole, including their physical, emotional, mental, cultural, and social components when providing care.
