Jeannette Velazquez- Gomez

Jeannette Velazquez-Gomez, MSN, APRN-C, was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialty from South University of Savannah, completed in May 2018. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Jeannette has over 28 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care to her patients and their families. In 2016, she pursued her lifelong goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner and successfully completed her advanced training in 2018. Since then, she has spent three years working in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine in the Tampa area, providing care through office visits, home visits, assisted living facilities, and telehealth services.

She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Small Assisted Living Coalition, and the Tampa Bay Advanced Practice Nurse Council.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Jeannette enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She loves her dog, Mala, and also delights in baking.
