Jesse Bastiaens

Jesse Bastiaens, MD is a psychiatrist based at Clearwaves Valhalla office, providing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation TMS and medication management via in person and telepsychiatry appointments. He completed his medical school training at Cornell University Medical College and his psychiatry residency at the University of California San Francisco UCSF.

During residency, Dr. Bastiaens was a chief resident and helped develop a training program in interventional psychiatryneuromodulation. Since that time, he has served as medical director of a large group practice implementing quality and performance improvement standards, worked as an attending on an inpatient unit for young adults, and functioned as an assistant professor of psychiatry for both UCSF and Cornell University. He has extensive experience in interventional psychiatry, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in particular.

Dr. Jesse Bastiaens providers general psychiatric care but specializes in depression and anxiety spectrum disorders e.g. obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder among others. He believes in evidence-based treatment and providing a compassionate and therapeutic environment for patients.
