John Markowitz

I am a Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia University and a Research Psychiatrist at New York State Psychiatric Institute. I have spent years researching treatments and treating people with depression, posttraumatic stress disorder, and other psychiatric disorders using Interpersonal Psychotherapy IPT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and medication.
