Jonathan Amiel, MD

Dr. Jonathan Amiel is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience providing thoughtful, evidence-based care. He specializes in helping patients navigate complex life transitions through talk therapy and, when appropriate, medication management.

Dr. Amiel is a graduate of Yale University and Columbia Universitys College of Physicians Surgeons. He completed his psychiatry residency and psychoanalytic training at Columbia, where he later served as Professor of Psychiatry and Senior Associate Dean. He currently leads the Office of Professionalism and Inclusion at NewYork-Presbyterian and teaches at Stanford University School of Medicine.
