Jose A. Badia, APN

Jose A. Badia, a Board-Certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, is a fierce patient advocate, who believes in patient centered care above all. As a first generation Cuban American and college graduate, he was born and raised in Guttenberg, NJ. He completed his undergraduate degree at St. Peters University in Jersey City, NJ and his Associate Nursing Degree at Holy Name Medical Center School of Nursing in Teaneck, NJ. Nurse Practitioner NP Badia returned to St. Peters University to complete his Master of Science in Nursing specializing in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. He has spent the last four years as a medical-surgical and critical care nurse at Holy Name Medical Center.
 
Jose is thrilled to join the Domi Healthcare family and eager to serve the community in which he has grown up in. He hopes to build strong patient-provider relationships, creating a safe space for patients to take an integral role in co-managing their own healthcare. Jose is passionate about improving health literacy and ensuring equal healthcare access to those in need.
 
Jose is fluent in both English Spanish.
