As Psychiatric NP, triage and performs initial psychiatric and physical evaluations of patients, to include order and interpret necessary diagnostic images or tests and labs, formulating diagnoses and instituting treatment including psychopharmacologic and psychological interventions to manage psychiatric andor substance abuse patients in the in-patient Mental Health Unit MHU.
Serve as Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist and expert clinician.
As NP, Behavioral Health Care Facilitator for the Primary Care Behavioral Health PCBH Program in the treatment of depression, post-traumatic stress disorder PTSD and anxiety disorders in child adolescent and adult members.
My major duties provide independent, comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging care to patients and families; educating patients and families in the prevention or resolution of illness, treatment of disease, injury and disability.
Monitor patients, conducts comprehensive, holistic wellness and illness assessments using established or innovative evidence-based techniques, tools and methods.
Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, evaluate patient care and resolve issues related to patient care, communication, policies and resources.
