A physician executive with Chicago's premier out patient opiate addiction treatment center. I actively manage and provide physician oversight for the Medically Assisted Treatment MAT of our patients, working collaboratively with addiction counseling and psychologists. ModernMed Recovery provides a respectful empathetic approach to addiction with a goal of long term meaningful recovery. My 19 years of experience as an emergency room physician has exposed me to the growing epidemic of opiate addiction, recognizing that there is very little resource. I am also involved with the business development and strategy in linking the successful in patient detoxification and continued out patient recovery.
