Khushbu Chandarana, MD

Dr. Chandarana was born in India but grew up in Queens, New York. She did her undergraduate training at Barnard College, Columbia University in New York City. She did her medical training at New York University School of Medicine and her post graduate residency training at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She further completed her fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism at New Jersey Medical School.

Dr. Chandarana has several years of experience in the field of endocrinology. She has worked in private practice in Hamilton, NJ for two years and subsequently worked at Carolina Endocrine in Raleigh for several years. She left in 2014 to start her own practice Summit Endocrine Diabetes, PLLC in Cary, NC in October 2015.

Dr. Chandarana is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism. She enjoys all aspects of general endocrinology and is certified to perform neck and thyroid ultrasounds.
She is an active member in the community and has given lectures at the local health and wellness center on thyroid and diabetes and has participated in health fairs.

Dr. Chandarana is fluent in Gujarati.
