Mika Cole

Allergy and Immunology is a fascinating field of medicine! I was fortunate to complete a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School and did clinical work at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Due to my interest in pediatrics, I served on the faculty at Boston Children's Hospital until I moved to Texas.
Previously, I went to medical school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and pursued an internal medicine residency at Washington UniversityBarnes Hospital in St. Louis.
Why Texas? My father-in-law's theory was that Texas is God's country, but my theory is that if you marry a Texan, you move to Texas.
For several years, my focus other than family and friends is quality clinical care. I personally see all my patients and do not depend on a nurse or physician assistant.
