Pat L. Brinkman-Falter, BSDH, MS, PHRDH, COM

Pat obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and has been a practicing dental hygienist for over 30 years. She also holds a Public Health License in Dental Hygiene. Pat completed her Masters in Human Resource and Family Science at UNL and obtained her Gerontology certification at Colorado State. She then obtained her Orofacial Myofunctional educational training at the Academy of Orofacial Myology in Los Angeles, California and completed her Internship at Billings Speech Pathology Services in Lees Summit, Missouri. She has also received advance training at Midwest Orofacial Myology in Chicago, IL , at the Coulson Institute in Denver, CO and is trained in parafunctional behavior modification and myofacia release.
Pat is a Board Certified Orofacial Myologist COM through the International Association of Orofacial Myology IAOM. She currently serves as an examiner for orofacial myology certification at the IAOM, serves as the Delegate chair and Past President of the Nebraska Dental Hygienists' Association, and as a member of the UNMC Deans Council. She has served as the first dental representative on the Executive Board of the Nebraska Rural Health Association and is a member of the Nebraska and American Dental Hygienist's Associations.
