My practice is 100 consultative endocrinology. Merging the best of two worlds, we utilize virtual media as well as the traditional hands-on approach. I accept referrals from our physician colleagues, current patients, and self-referred individuals. Since I focus on preventive aspects of disease, I expect my patients to maintain an active role in their health.

I have practiced in the south hills of Pittsburgh since 1994. Most of our patients live in this area, but our radius extends about 150 miles. Beginning in 2014, I will also be offering telemedicin visits for our patients with morning, afternoon, and evening, and weekend hours. In the emerging style of concierge medicine, I shall offer home visits for those in need.

I am particularly interested in 1 insulin resistance associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus, and 2 thyroid cancer.
