Rachael Tootle

Rachael Tootle is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center ANCC. With over 34 years of extensive experience in healthcare, she has built a robust career in both acute care hospitals and outpatient settings. For the past 15 years, Rachael has specialized in Family and Internal Medicine, where she provides comprehensive medical management and treatment for patients with a wide range of complex health conditions.

Rachael earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she began her career as a trauma nurse. She later advanced her education at Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky, obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Care. During her academic training, Rachael completed competitive internships in Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Obstetrics and Gynecology, where she gained invaluable hands-on experience under the mentorship of skilled physicians and nurse practitioners.

Committed to both patient care and community service, Rachael has actively volunteered with homeless populations and survivors of domestic abuse. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she expanded her expertise by working in mental health, where she built strong, collaborative relationships with patients and mental health professionals.

Rachael is dedicated to fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals, having served as a Clinical Preceptor for nurse practitioner students from Texas State University, Houston Baptist University, and Texas Tech University. She is an engaged member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners AANP and Texas Nurse Practitioners TNP.
