Rachel McKenna is a child and adolescent psychiatrist who has trained and worked in a variety of clinical settings. After graduating in high standing from an accelerated combined undergraduategraduate school at the University of Missouri, Dr. McKenna completed her internship, residency and fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. While there, she earned the Star Performer award and was promoted to Chief Physician.

Dr. McKenna is passionate about providing comprehensive treatment. She recognizes the power of psychotherapy and wants each patient to have many options for treatment. Her experience ranges from working with children and adults of all ages, with specialized training with preschool-aged kids. Dr. McKenna has worked in specific clinics for autism, psychosis, mood disorders, ADHD, eating disorders and behavioral disorders. She enjoys working with teachers, parents and other clinicians to provide the best treatment possible.

Dr. McKenna has been a leader both within her training program and in the psychiatric community. She was selected to the Executive Committee of the regional American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Organization and also served as the quality improvement chair while at Washington University. She relocated to Florida where she was born and raised to join a multidisciplinary practice. While there, she continued to make a difference both as the medical director and as a physician. She has since started her own practice and is excited to meet and help you and your family!
