Ravi Thiruvengadam, MD

Dr. Ravi is certified by the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology He graduated MBBS and MD with honors from the University of Madras India He Interned at the Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center New York NY and was a Resident in Internal Medicine at the State University of New York Stonybrook NY He then moved to the Mayo Clinic and Mayo Foundation Rochester Minnesota as a National Institutes of Health NIH Fellow in Gastroenterology Liver diseases and Nutrition While at the Mayo Clinic he was the recipient of the Glaxo Award for the presentation of his research at the plenary session of the American Gastroenterological Association He served on the fulltime Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology faculty of the University of South Florida as an Attending Physician at the H Lee Moffit Cancer Hospital Research Center Tampa Florida before relocating to California He is married and has three children He is currently on the clinical faculty of the UCR School of Medicine
