Robert Emerick, MD FACC FSCAI

Dr. Rob Emerick is an independent, clinical cardiologist and medical practitioner, who presently functions as founder and president of Choice Cardiovascular, PLLC in Gig Harbor, Washington.

After earning his medical degree at Columbia Universitys College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, Dr. Emerick completed his subsequent clinical training in Internal Medicine, General and Interventional Cardiology, Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant Medicine in New York and San Francisco.

He has fifteen years of clinical experience in the field of cardiovascular medicine; including coronary artery disease, heart failure and cardiac transplant, cardiac arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, and heart attack and stroke prevention.

Dr. Emerick is the founder of a unique, personalized cardiovascular medicine practice, Choice Cardiovascular, built on the clinical conviction that virtually all heart attacks and strokes can be eliminated through the implementation of effective, scientifically-based, preventive measures within the essential setting of an enhanced doctor-patient relationship. He is passionate in his belief that improved health will arise from an approach to care that empowers individual choice.

He is active in community and national health initiatives, speaking regularly to groups on the durable benefits of a proactive, preventive and personalized approach to cardiovascular health and wellness.

Dr.Emerick is married, and has 3 boys.
