Each client is unique and deserves the opportunity to tell hisher story so that an individualized treatment plan can be developed While medication management is my primary focus I view medication as a tool to provide enough stability to apply the copings skills for recovery To achieve this goal I offer longer unrushed appointments collaborate closely with a clients therapist and often discuss treatment modifications between appointments In short medication management is just one part of the holistic treatment approach I use for depressionanxietytrauma bipolar borderline personality ADHD and other struggles for clients 13 and older

Before becoming a nurse practitioner I worked as a psychiatric nurse at MCVVCU Health Systems since 2009 I also studied medicationmindfulness in India and continue that practice daily I have struggled with and recovered from depressionanxiety and I utilize the very same coping strategies I teach clients
