Rocio Reyes

Rocio Reyes Echemendia is a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP-BC committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. With a strong foundation in both clinical and academic settings, she brings a comprehensive and empathetic approach to mental health treatment for individuals across the lifespan.

Rocio earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health from West Coast University in Dallas, Texas, following her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University and an Associate in Arts from Miami Dade College. Her advanced training has been enriched by diverse clinical experiences in outpatient and community mental health settings, where she conducted psychiatric evaluations, managed psychotropic medications, and implemented evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.

She currently practices as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Palm Beach Psychiatry, where she provides comprehensive mental health services to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Her clinical focus includes psychiatric assessments, medication management, psychoeducation, and collaborative care planning in a multidisciplinary environment.

Previously, Rocio served as a registered nurse at Baptist Hospital in Miami, Florida, where she developed expertise in managing patients with complex medical and psychiatric needs. She is adept in crisis intervention, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she effectively connects with and advocates for a diverse patient population.
