Shakeeb Hussain

Dr. Hussain is a board-certified psychiatrist. He completed medical training at the University of Saskatchewan, with psychiatry training at the University of Alberta. He had worked in Canada in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry before moving to the United States. He then worked in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry at Altru Health System in Grand Forks, ND, for several years. He then came to New York, where he has worked for several years at Northwell Health at Phelps Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, NY, in both inpatient general adult psychiatry and inpatient rehab, including work in electroconvulsive therapy ECT. With now joining Clearwave Mental Health, he is continuing his interest in non-pharmacological biological treatments in psychiatry.
