Sophronia Arrington

Sophronia Renae Arrington has been an RN since 2011. She spent her early career primarily
working on step-down and progressive care units as a cardiac nurse. In 2016 she began her journey as an RN within the inpatient mental health field. She soon found her place as a caregiver primarily for children and adolescents. Renae has had extensive experience with adolescents diagnosed with behavior disorders as well as those who have experienced trauma, including sexual trauma. Her own familys history of mental health disorders and her compassion as a nurse prompted her to seek an education to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Oklahoma City Universitys DNP, PMHNP program with high honors in May of 2025. Renaes holistic approach to a patients mental health is to identify their needs by actively listening, offering support, and being invested in their overall wellbeing. Renae is married and is a mother of three adult boys and three young stepsons. She enjoys gardening, crochet, singing, and travel. Renae also enjoys the company of her two very needy German Shepherds, Asher and Styxx, and a very bossy Basset Hound named Lily.
