Stephanies Journey To Medicine
Stephanies interest in medicine was inspired by her mother and sister, both RNs. She set her sights on becoming a PA after her interactions with military PAs while serving for 8 years in the Ohio Army National Guard and seeing the impact they made.

Education And Career
Stephanie earned her undergraduate degree in pre-health from The Ohio State University and her MPAS degree from Kettering College in Dayton, Ohio. She began her PA career as a Hospitalist, spending the past five years in internal medicine. Her role included acute and post acute care, where she gained experience to manage various wounds and dermatological conditions. This was a catalyst for her decision to transition away from internal medicine and specialize in dermatology and wound care.

Passion For Dermatology And Patient Care
Stephanie is excited to build relationships with patients, provide continuity of care, and develop hands-on skills in dermatology and surgical procedures.

Her patient approach emphasizes empathy, communication, and collaboration. This approach is something she was able to define while working in a hospital setting.

Communication with each patient is important so they have a clear understanding of what the etiology of their disease is and what preventative measures they can take, said Stephanie. Communication is vital to ensure all team members involved are on the same page to provide optimal care.

Stephanie prioritizes patient inclusion and ensures they are a part of the treatment plan. This enables them to make informed decisions necessary for their own health.

She feels that skin health is critical for maintaining both physical well-being and emotional wellness. Stephanie enjoys treating acne to restore both complexion and confidence, advocates for regular skin cancer screenings and firmly believes in proper sun care. She also finds value in combining a skin care routine with non-surgical procedures such as microneedling to provide a natural and refreshed appearance.
