Tara Elrod, Nurse Practitioner, provides patient-centered care with a functional medicine approach. She focuses on helping patients better understand their health through comprehensive wellness evaluations, advanced lab review, nutrition support, hormone and metabolic health considerations, and personalized care planning.

Tara has a special interest in identifying root-cause patterns that may contribute to symptoms such as fatigue, inflammation, weight concerns, digestive issues, hormone imbalance, and overall wellness concerns. Her goal is to help patients move beyond general advice by using a deeper review of symptoms, lifestyle, labs, and wellness goals.

Tara currently sees patients for Advanced Wellness Assessments at Whitehouse Family Medical. These assessments may include circulation testing, spirometry lung function testing, EKG, advanced nutrition testing, and heartmetabolic evaluation when appropriate.
