Tariq Mehmood

Tariq Mehmood is a dedicated healthcare professional with over fifteen years of experience in clinical care, mental health treatment, diagnostics, and patient education. He is a U.S.-licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP-BC and a foreign-trained medical doctor, having earned his MBBS from Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan. Fluent in both English and Punjabi, Tariq provides patient-centered, culturally competent care that bridges physical and mental health.
From 2002 to 2015, he successfully managed a private medical practice in Pakistan before transitioning to advanced psychiatric care in the United States. He holds a PMHNP from Purdue Global University and an accelerated BSN from Florida International University. He is also certified by the ARDMS in Abdomen and OBGYN sonography and has passed USMLE Steps.
Tariq offers a collaborative and holistic treatment approach, with a strong focus on the well-being of individuals facing complex psychiatric challenges.
