Usman Malik

Dr Usman Malik, MD is a board-certified rheumatologist practising in Florida.

Dr Malik finished medical school at the prestigious Aga Khan Medical College in Pakistan. He did a three-year residency in Internal Medicine from Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis, after which he was an attending hospitalist for 6 years in Leesburg, FL, where he served adult patients with a multitude of disease processes.

He then did a two-year fellowship in Rheumatology with an interest in Musculoskeletal ultrasound, autoimmune lung disease as well as complex rheumatological conditions. For the last 4 years he has practised rheumatology at Sanford Health system in Bismarck, ND, where he has taken a multi-specialty and multimodality approach to treatment of complex medical and socio-medical conditions.

Dr Malik is a prolific writer including articles in international newspapers and magazine as well as in the American College of Rheumatology's official publication THE RHEUMATOLOGIST. In 2024 the same magazine featured Dr. Malik in their Rheumatology After Five section.

Dr Malik has a keen interest in evidence-based medicine as well as holistic medicine. He has been a TedX speaker, and has served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Central Florida, Orlando as well University of North Dakota and Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he holds active teaching positions.
